Vasile Gliga hand-built violin from selected wood for the advanced violinist. This MAESTRO violin can be equipped with strings of your choice, a Wittner or ebony tailpiece and ebony fingerboard/chinrest/tuning pegs. This MAESTRO model is the best quality model of Gliga and equipped with a special antique oil lacquer. The violin comes with an authenticity certificate from the builder.
Violin maker Vasile Gliga started making violins about 40 years ago and has since expanded his workshop into a company where hundreds of instruments are built every year by self-trained employees.
All instruments are built by hand. Gliga uses Carpathian Maple and Pine (dried for 10 years) for the back and sides and the fingerboard, chinrest and tuning pegs are made of imported ebony. The MAESTRO models are built in a separate workshop by highly experienced violin makers. Gliga offers a very wide range of instruments, all of which are available through Strijkinstrumentshop.nl. The instruments that Strijkinstrumentshop.nl offers from Gliga are unique in the Netherlands/Belgium in terms of price/quality ratio and are usually immediately available.
The violin is carefully adjusted in the workshop of Strijkinstrumentshop and shipped in special packaging. Delivery of the instrument takes approx. 2-4 days due to adjustment and settling of the strings.
