The Thomastik Spirocore strings are made of a multi-wire steel core wound with chrome steel, aluminum, silver or tungsten wire. The strings sound well balanced, both when bowed and pizzicato and give a good response. The various string windings can be selected in the selection box. Available in medium string tension.

The 4/4 string sets have the following windings: E (alu), A (chrome), D (chrome) and G (chrome), while the 1/2 and 3/4 string sets have a chrome steel winding. Loose 4/4 strings can also be ordered in other versions (silver/tungsten/alu).
