This spiral cable core has greater elasticity and higher amplitude than other cable strings. The sound is round, homogeneous, balanced and powerful. Many artists want to achieve equally good results for both arco and pizzicato. The Spirocore strings are particularly easy to press, have excellent response, are reliable and have an extremely long life. Available in Medium and the G- and C strings in Strong and Soft versions (tungsten). Thomastik has terminated the production of strong and soft versions of the A- and D strings. Some strings are still available.
