Thomastik Präzision cello strings have a solid steel core and give a beautiful brilliant sound. The strings are very durable and therefore beneficial for cello players in many styles of music. The strings are available in the following versions:

- A string : steel core with Chrome winding;
- D string : steel core with Chrome winding;
- G string : steel core with Chrome winding;
- C string : steel core with Chrome winding;
- SET chrome No.102

Optionally, the A string is available with aluminum winding (90A) and with a higher string tension (91) and the G and C string with silver winding.

Thomastik stopped with the production of small sizes (1/2 & 1/4) and optional strings. Some sets/pieces are still available.
