The new Belcanto cello string concept offers strings with a clear, sonorous and balanced sound. There are two versions, namely the standard set and the gold set. Strings from both sets can also be easily mixed together. The Gold strings offer a slightly richer and warmer sound. The sets consist of the following strings:

Belcanto Standard
- A string : Steel core with chromed winding
- D string : Steel core with chromed winding
- G string : Braided steel core with chromed winding
- C string : Braided steel core with Tungsten (Tungsten) winding

Bel Canto Gold
- A string : Steel core with multialloy winding
- D string : Steel core with multialloy winding
- G string : Braided steel core with multiallay winding
- C string : Braided steel core with multialloy/tungsten winding

The strings contain no nickel components and are suitable for cello players who experience allergic reactions to nickel.
