Thomastik-Infeld Alphayue cello strings combine a competitive price with a beautiful colorful sound, direct response and good playability. These strings are excellent for improving the sound of relatively cheap instruments (as a substitute for cheap steel strings). The set is composed as follows:

- A string : solid steel wound with Hydronalium wire
- D string : solid steel core wound with high-quality steel alloy wire
- G and C string : braided steel core wound with chromed wire. Available in sizes 1/8. 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 and 4/4, medium string tension only.
