Strijkinstrumentshop.nl offers all violin strings from the brands D'Addario, Jargar, Larsen, Pirastro, Thomastik-Infeld, Corelli, Westminster, Lenzner, Fisoma, Optima, Dogal, Prim, Hill, For-Tune and Warchal and we keep all strings in stock. The strings will be usually dispatched within 1-2 working days. For strings that are unexpectedly not in stock, the delivery time is approx. 1-2 weeks. Most strings come with a description and a link to the manufacturer's website, which will give you some insight into the world of violin strings. Ultimately, the combination of the instrument and the matching string, together with your own preference / wish, is what matters. The development of materials for violin strings is progressing rapidly and new types appear every year or existing strings are improved. Not sure which string suits you best? Advice from a violinist or violin maker, who knows your instrument and has a lot of "violin string experience", can help. However, it is often also a matter of trying it out yourself with your violin. You are also welcome to visit our showroom/atelier for this.
