Evah Pirazzi Slap Double Bass String Set offers a unique blend of modern and traditional string core materials, with G and D gut strings, while A and E strings have a synthetic core with chrome steel winding. The sound is dark and rich with a great projection and therefore suitable for slapping and old pizzicato and barock arco techniques, over the entire length of the fingerboard. New techniques have been used in the manufacture of the dasrm strings, which improve the playing time and tunability. The string core material of the A and E strings is a newly developed synthetic fibre, which is then precision wound with a flat chrome steel wire. The G and D strings are also available in a synthetic version.
