Beautiful violin by the Italian maker Rodolfo Tramonti in Forlì 1967. Tramonti won many violin making competitions, including the competition in Bolzano where he won the gold medal twice , in 1929 and 1931. The selection of wood is also remarkable; note the flamed maple of the back and ribs . The varnish is beautifully transparent, the color is orange on a golden ground. Very easy to play , the sound is clear, powerful and rich in quality . Ideal for professionals/students looking to upgrade.
The violin was purchased in 1972 from the Hague violin makers Krumbholz and Racz by Mrs. de Rooij (mother of Karel de Rooij from Mini and Maxi) and played by her for decades. Purchase receipt is available.
This violin is available for rental in the premium+ class.
