Strijkinstrumentenshop.nl specializes in the rental of string instruments. In case you wish to rent an instrument, you may do this entirely through our website, whereby you have the possibility that the instrument is send to your home (violins/violas, and cellos/double basses in the regions N/Z-Holland/Utrecht/Flevoland).There is a wide range of violins, violas, cellos and double basses available to provide every musician (young and old) with a suitable instrument. All string instruments are rented with all necessary accessories: bow, resin, chest or cover and possibly a shoulder rest or pin holder. Hire-purchase is also possible. Bowedinstrumentshop rents out string instruments for young and old! We have violins, violas, cellos and double basses for the little ones, but also for adults. An instrument must of course grow with you and that is why you can switch to a larger instrument for free at no extra cost. Curious which size is correct? Then take a look at this page. You can verify the availability of the instrument by clicking here and then selecting your desired instrument. If you cannot select the instrument, the instrument is unfortunately not available at the moment. Through the contact form you can inform when the instrument will become available.

Shipping, pick-up or delivery

It is possible to have a violin, viola or cello sent/delivered to you . The instrument is properly adjusted, packed and shipped via one of our partners before we send it. Of course, pick-up is also possible in our store in The Hague. Double basses en cellos can be delivered in the provinces of North- and South Holland, Utrecht and Flevoland. However, pick-up is preferred!

Flexible contract

You always rent with from an instrument for minimal 3 months. For most violins and violas, no deposit is required. For cellos and double basses we charge a deposit of 100, 200 or 300 euros (budget, advanced or premium category).
