Pirastro Passione Orchestra double bass strings are made of high tensile twisted carbon steel, wound with chrome steel wire. Very suitable for arco orchestra playing with a round warm sound with many overtones, good response, flexibility and great projection. A relatively light stroke technique is required to achieve a beautiful sound, in which the string vibrates very easily. The strings are playable immediately after tensioning and are very stable. Available in size 3/4.
