Pirastro has stopped producing the strong and soft versions of Obligato violin strings and as a result this is a discontinued item that can not be ordered or very limited at wholesale .

The medium string set is composed as follows:

• E string - Gold-Chrome steel
• A string - Aluminum winding
• D string - Silver winding
• G string - Silver winding

The A-string with chrome steel winding and the D-belt with aluminum winding are available as an option.
