The "Gold" violin strings from Pirastro are made by hand in the traditional way. They play easily and have a nice clear and warm sound. The E string is made of steel and produces a powerful and brilliant sound, all with an easy response (with the right bowing technique, of course!). Available in medium, soft and strong; with ball-end or loop. The A-string has a gut core with aluminum winding with ball-end, the D-string gut with alu/silver winding and knot (knot) and the G-string gut with silver winding and knot (knot).
