The Pirastro Flat Chrome Steel Solo Double Bass Strings are the universal steel strings for soloists. The cable core is made of carbon steel, wrapped with chrome steel. This makes the sound clear and brilliant with a lot of resonance of carrying power. The string reacts quickly and requires optimal stroke technique. It is stable in voice, and the break-in time is short. Available in medium string tension for the 3/4 double bass.
