Pirastro Chromcor violin strings have a solid steel core and are wound with chrome steel, and therefore last a very long time. The E and A strings have a clear sound, while the D and G strings have a more rounded and brilliant sound. All strings respond easily and are easy to tune. Good strings for the beginning and advanced violinist. Available in sizes 1/32-1/16, 1/8-1/4, 1/2-3/4 and 4/4.

The A string is also available in the Eudoxa Chromcor version. This string has a steel core wound with chrome steel wire. This makes the sound of this string a bit warmer compared to the Chromcor A string. Only available in medium string tension.
