Pirastro Aricore violin strings have a core made of Polyester. With the right bowing technique, they give a warm dark timbre. The strings are easy to tune and insensitive to temperature and humidity. The following strings are available:

- Set : Steel E string (ball or loop-end), A and D string with aluminum winding and G string with silver winding.
- Optionally, the A and D strings are also available with a chrome steel winding and furthermore is the A-string available in the Eudoxa-Aricore version with a polyster core and Alu winding (medium).
