I'm specialized in making violins and viola also on commission.

I make violins and violas since almost 20 years now.
 My personal research is focused on finding a balance between different aspects: a warm and deep sound, a graceful shape and a dark yellow/amber varnish with a high level of transparency.
My inspiration came from the great italians makers such as A. Stradivari, Guarneri del Gesu, G.B. Guadagnini and the moderns Marino Capicchioni (for violas), Ferdinando Garimberti, Lorenzo Stelluto.
I use only very selected wood aged at least 30-40 years which gives stability and richness to the final sound. Recently we acquired the whole stock of stunning wood belonged to the luthier Alex Oosten, from 1978 and 1983. 

Why to choose a modern instrument?
Modern instruments are more stable and will grow with the personality of the musician. They require a little work in the beginning to be opened but it will become an extension of the player supporting him in all the tasks required by a professional career.
