Larsen's ambition was to develop a new innovative string synthetic core with relatively low string tension, yet capable of producing a rich, exceptional sound with great volume. The string plays easily and also has a remarkably good string response and reliability.

Larsen Virtuoso® G, D and A strings are made using a multi-ply nylon core. The G and D strings are wound with a solid silver flat wire, while the A string is wound with aluminum. The E string is made of carbon steel. Available in Medium and Strong string tensions.
