Crown cellostrings are no longer produced by Larsen and have since been replaced by the new Larsen Aurora cello strings . There are still a few sets/strings available. The strings are made as follows:

- A & D string : Steel core wound with a corrosion resistant steel alloy.
- G string : Steel/Nickel wound
- C string : Steel/Tungsten wound

Available in Medium and Strong.
