Kaplan Amo brings warmth, richness and flexibility to brighter sounding instruments, while Kaplan Vivo offers a more brilliant and bright sound, more suitable for instruments with a darker character. Both Amo and Vivo settle quickly after stringing and guarantee a rich timbre palette of tones, along with good bow response.

- E string : Tinned carbon steel
- A string : Synthetic core with aluminium winding;
- D string : Synthetic core with silver winding;
- G string : Synthetic core with silver winding.

The strings are available in medium, strong and soft versions.
