The Superior set from Jargar has a warm, powerful and round sound. They are well balanced and rich in timbres, project well and give a good response. Superior strings are perfect for use in chamber music, orchestral and solo playing. An additional advantage is that the strings last a very long time. The A and D strings have a traditional somewhat warm and brilliant sound compared to the classic Jargar Classical cello strings, while the C and G strings produce a more powerful sound (with the right bowing technique!). The A and D strings are made of steel, wound with chrome steel and the G and C string have a tungsten (tungsten) wound. The A and D string are also available in Strong and Soft versions.
