Jargar strings history
Jarl Hansen (see the image below) - the founder of Jargar Strings - himself played as a cellist in the "Royal Danish Opera Orchestra", where he became more and more interested in the strings of his instrument. He found gut strings not stable enough and designed his own string with a steel core and a high-quality metal winding. In 1956 he founded his own company and his strings soon made an international advance, especially among cellists, the string became incredibly popular.
Jargar Strings cello strings are renowned for their powerful and unique sound. They also respond very easily, making the strings suitable for players of all levels.
