Play Violin! distinguishes itself through clear instructions, intonation and replay exercises (using the CDs as an aid), rhythm exercises, assignments and games. The subject matter has also been incorporated into well-known and new pieces, as well as duets. A crossword puzzle and interesting information about the instrument and its history make the book extra attractive for the student.
