Dogal "Vivaldi" violin strings are produced entirely by hand in Dogal's Venetian workshop . Excellent response and warm sound are the benefits offered by the use of a synthetic multi- ply core with a high percentage of carbon fibre, which also provides the benefit of reduced soundboard stress . Dogal Vivaldi strings are available with Soft, Medium or Strong string tension. The string set consists of the following strings:
- E string solid steel (ball-end);
- A string with synthetic multi-wire core with a flat aluminum winding;
- D string with synthetic multi-wire core with a flat aluminum winding;
- G string with a synthetic multi-wire core with a flat silver winding.
The string sets 1/4, 1/8 and 1/16 are equipped with a D string with a silver winding. This option is also available for sizes 4/4, 3/4 and 1/2.
