Dogal CAPRICCIO® violin strings are made for the professional violinist. These new strings are made exclusively by hand in the Dogal workshop in Venice, Italy. The strings are made according to a new concept 'Synthetic Gut' core and are able to offer the professional player a string that is absolutely impervious to humid or other difficult climatic conditions. With these strings, a violinist can get a beautifully warm, intense and powerful sound from his precious instrument. The 'Capriccio' strings give you the authentic and unmistakable 'Italian Sound'. Compared to machine made strings, Dogal 's handmade Capriccio is amazingly smooth and gorgeous ! It has a lively and established sound without being overly loud. The strings are a well -kept secret of "old-timers" who want a pure sound and ease of playing. The specifications are as follows:
- E string made of chrome steel (with removable ball)
- A string with synthetic core and aluminum winding
- D string with synthetic core and silver winding
- G string with synthetic core and silver winding
There are two versions, namely Orchestra and Soloist, the latter with a somewhat higher string tension.
