D'Addario Helicore Pizzicato double bass strings are made of a multi-braided steel core with nickel winding and produce a slightly brighter sound compared to the other Helicore double bass strings. Their design makes them very easy to play with the left hand, with damping reduced to maximize reverberation. The strings produce a warm sound and also a fast response. The strings are very stable, even in changing weather conditions and are easy to play. The 3/4 strings are suitable for a double bass with a vibrating string scale of 1060mm. Available in medium, strong and soft string tensions.
