D'Addario Helicore strings consist of a multi-wire steel core with nickel winding, which gives a warm sound and a fast response. The design of the core of the string is such that it is pleasant to play for the left hand. The strings are very stable, even in changing weather conditions and are easy to play, both pizzicato and with the bow. The 3/4 strings are suitable for a double bass with a vibrating string scale of 106 cm. Furthermore, the strings are also available in sizes 1/2, 1/4, 1/8 and 1/10.
