Tuning your instrument is a breeze with the Boston BTU-150. It turns on automatically when you attach it to the head of your instrument, eg violin, viola, cello, double bass, etc. and tuning can begin. With cello and double bass, the tuner can also be clipped onto the comb. The BTU-150 is a chromatic tuner with a clear display that indicates in 3 colors whether your chosen tone is too high (red), too low (orange) or pure (green), including pitch indication. The built-in piezo sensor ensures an accurate tuning. The BTU-150 automatically turns off when you remove it from your instrument or after 5 minutes of inactivity.
