Product description

Boston brand analog metronome, type BMM-60 (40-208 bpm, black)
Tempo is an important concept in music. The tempo of music partly determines the atmosphere and is to music what the heartbeat is to humans. It is therefore very important that musicians learn to feel and hold tempo and not to slow down or speed up, unless a piece of music requires it. The nostalgic Boston BMM-60 can be of great help here. The slider controls the tempo (40-208bpm). The BMM-60 is equipped with a so-called "beat controller" with which the time signature can be set, so that a bell sounds on every first beat of a measure. So you not only learn to keep the tempo, but also to play within the beat and start on the right beat. The beat controller can be set to 2, 3, 4 and 6 beats.

It may also be useful to know that the BMM-60 is not plug, but play. You wind it up in a few turns like a clock with the appropriate metal turning key and you can start right away!
